CLEAN FACE OBSESSION!

MY FACE DOESN’T FEEL CLEAN!

Yes, I’ve heard it time and time again from clients. Not because their faces are not cleaned but in our brains we have trained and taught ourselves that a good face scrubbing equals a fresh clean face. I felt this way too! Even though i am sure you all know washing your lashes is a very important step in their care but the gentle wash just sometimes leaves the face feeling incomplete. Of course i found my solution!

If your a client of mine you may have heard me rave and rave about how i love the Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Cleansing Pads! They are amazing! Well i have hit my HOLY MOLY i am in love with this new product i’ve been using, Peter Thomas Roth Max Complexion Correction Pads! They are very similar and both do an amazing job one of course is a bit steeper in price so let me tell you all about them and you decide what is best for your needs…. i must admit i am spoiling my face and use both daily! I believe my face thanks me!

Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Cleansing Pads   60 pads

Now at $5 to$7.50 in any CVS, WAL MART, TARGET, RITE-AID and so on they are a great deal and easy to come by! Recently CVS had a buy 1 get 1 50% off so i couldn’t resist and i took advantage and stocked up!

On the Ulta website they are described as

“Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Cleansing Pads are pre-moistened, self-foaming cleansing pads that contain salicylic acid, a blemish fighting ingredient, to help clear and prevent breakouts and moisture-rich soy to improve skin’s clarity and help even out tone and texture. The pads are textured on one side to gently exfoliate, and smooth on the other side to lift way dirt, oil and makeup that can clog pores and cause breakouts. These oil-free, alcohol-free pads are gentle enough for everyday use and will not over-dry your skin. Soap-free and hypoallergenic, the pads are safe for even those with sensitive skin.”

My favorite part about these is the exfoliating texture on the pad. It really gets to working and lifts all the dirt , makeup and oils without making your face feel dry or stripped. They are soaked in the cleanser which causes the pad to drip all over the place really foam up. I’m not a fan of the mess so i use them in the shower everyday instead of at my sink. I have seen a improvement in my skin since i started using them, its definitely living up to its name and clearing my complexion. It contains 0.5% salicylic acid which is a good amount to get the job done. it isn’t anything impressive that a norm for a drugstore brand. I have never been pleased or impressed with any drugstore cleanser, wipe or pad but these changed all that. It is a great product and a awesome deal!

PETER THOMAS ROTH  Max Complexion Correction Pads 60 Pads

Ok at $36 a container i would say these are more a  very necessary luxury item! I do plan to buy them again thankfully i have access to a good discount at Sephora.

On the Peter Thomas Roth website it says

“Cleansing pads exclusively formulated to cleanse skin, remove blackheads, refine pores and reduce the appearance of fine lines.
Regulates healthy cell turnover and delivers proven anti-aging benefits that help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Deluxe, generously thick, double-sided pads deliver gentle cleansing action on one side and superior pore-refining exfoliation on the textured side. Pads contain a potent blend of Alpha Hydroxy Acid (Glycolic Acid Complex10%), Beta Hydroxy Acid (Salicylic Acid 2%) and Alcohol (46%) in an advanced botanical formulation. Fresh peach bellini scent replaces traditional medicinal antiseptic pads.”

Now first off let me say “DAMMMMM” Look at the amounts in those ingredients! As soon as you open this container you know this stuff is no joke. It has a strong smell of alcohol and chemical that can make the nose want to run away. I am picky when it comes to smells, i want everything to smell amazing so this was a turn off for me but as soon as i let that pad touch my face i was done fallen head over heels! You can feel how clean your face is on the first wipe. It leaves this nice cool sensation all over. After the first couple days i noticed all these new friends popping out to visit but by day 5 or 6 my face looked amazing. I wish i had taken some pictures but i had no idea of the improvement id see so fast! The other plus for me is that unlike the Aveeno Pads i can use these anytime anywhere because they don’t create any foam or residue that needs to be rinsed off. They are amazing to use to get the face fresh and clean before applying makeup on clients.

BOTTOMLINE

They both are great products, Im going to continue using both for as long as i can or until i find my next obsession.  If you go into Sephora they let you test the Roth pads and at $6 for the Aveeno Pads it won’t break the bank to try it out. Oh and guess what both are totally safe and great to use with EYELASH EXTENSIONS! OH YEAH!!

Let me know if you try them and what you thought!

BAD LASHES?! What Now?

ARE THEY FIXABLE? YES!

IS  THIS WHAT EXTENSIONS DO/FEEL OR LOOK LIKE? NO

More then likely if your asking your self either of the 2 questions you’ve had a bad lash application. With a number of places offering eyelash extensions without training and a number of places that claim to offer eyelash extensions, but are really applying flares or other shortcuts instead, bad lash applications do happen everyday. Sometimes you can get them removed and have absolutely amazing lashes applied the same day, but, depending on the damage, that’s not always the best idea. If there are gaps or the lash line is especially sparse, adding extensions will only draw more attention to the emptiness – not conceal it. If the lashes have been severely damaged and broken, they need some time to heal. I have even had clients come to me hours after having bad lashes applied from a bad “lash artist” with eye so irritated and red hat all I could do was help them clean and soothe their eyes with an eyewash and send them on their way to Urgent Care to care for the infection growing.

A professionally trained lash artist that cares about their clients and industry won’t do an application if it may cause further harm to your lashes. If your lash stylist recommends some time off for your lashes to restore, please listen to them! They’re looking out for the best interest of your lash health.

To speed up recovery of damaged lashes:

Immediately start using a good lash fortifier, like LiLash available from http://www.LiLash.com or myself if your in the San Diego Area.

  • Biotin Vitamins are a great source of amino acids to help with hair growth.
  • Give your lashes a break, no mascara, no strips, no clusters. I know it seems impossible for some of you Lash Lovers but your end results will be worth it.
  • Use the product nightly for at least 4-6 weeks until your natural eyelashes appear healthy and long enough to receive extensions.
  • Schedule a lash assessment with your artist at the 4-6 weeks mark to check the progress of your lash recovery.
  • In most cases, you may be able to have lashes after 4-6 weeks of conditioning.
  • In severe cases of lash damage, you may need to allow up to 12 weeks for a complete growth cycle of the natural lashes. Your lash stylist will advise you if this is the case.

Lash damage is unfortunate, but largely preventable. By doing a bit of research and selecting a trained professional for the application of your eyelash extensions, you’ll save yourself from the pain and distress of poor work.

If a lash mishap does happen to you, though, remember – it’s not the end of the world. They will ALMOST ALWAYS grow back from damage that happens just once. But, please don’t return to the scene of the lash. There are plenty of specialist out there. If cost is your main reason for going to one of these “nail shops, hair shops or swap meets” to have your lashes done just be cautious and do your research cause you may save yourself $20 or $40 now but what will it cost to fix them?

STAY EDUCATED, Lash Lovers

RAPID LASH Beware Be Careful & Be Smart

Lash Serums are taking over!

This is what i am questioning, i haven’t yet formed a solid stance either way but i love to share, educated and hear your opinion. Consider this… its hypothetical, facts came from the top of my imaginative head…

7 out 10 people use some product could be diet pills, hair growth serum, even lipstick and had great results. However lets say this product contains something that is or maybe even isn’t labeled and the other 3 have horrible side effects. Is it fair to still offer this product and allow it to be sold and not need to be regulated by FDA.

When products are not regulated they can claim what they want and label package with misinformation?

I love and support products that go through volunteered testing by M.D.’s or Informed Choice! Now that is just great quality service, shows the level of pride a company has and can put your mind at ease.

It wasn’t that long ago that Jan Marini received an FDA wrist slap that reverberated throughout the skincare industry for selling an eyelash conditioner with unapproved ingredient bimatoprost. Eyelash growth products are taking it on the chin again, this time the FDA has sent a warning letter to LifeTech Resources, manufacturer of RapidLash Eyelash Renewal SerumNeuLash Active Eyelash Technology andNeuveauBrow Active Eyebrow Technology.

These particular eyelash extenders and eyelash regrowth serums contain Isopropyl Cloprostenate – a synthetic prostaglandin analog very similar to bimatoprost. (Bimatoprost is the active ingredients in FDA-approved drugs used to lower intraocular pressure in glaucoma patients.)

Adverse events associated with prostaglandin analogs for ophthalmic use include ocular irritation, hyperemia, iris color change, macular edema, ocular inflammation, and interference with glaucoma therapy – all things best avoided for our clients. In addition, prostaglandin analogs for ophthalmic use are currently classified as Pregnancy Class C. (This classification means that there have been no human studies of the drug, but that animal studies have revealed some potential abnormalities.)

You can read more on the FDA Website The FDA also says ” If you currently distribute or use lash or brow conditioner, we urge you to carefully review your brand’s ingredient list to avoid possible regulatory and consumer issues.” It’s worth looking at your eyelash growth products to determine the active ingredient. Here’s the ingredient list for Rapid Lash:

Water (Aqua), Rhizobian Gum, Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid), Butylene Glycol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Biotin (Vitamin H), Panthenol, Pantethine, Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans, Allantoin (Comfrey Root), Cucurbita Pepo Seed Extract, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate (Licorice Root), Sea Water, Octapeptide 2, Copper Tripeptide 1 Alcohol Denatured, Isopropyl Cloprostenate, Polypeptide 23, Glycine Soja (Soybean Oil), Glycerin, Phosphatidylcholine, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenisen, Sorbic Acid (A Preservative)

If your are carrying Rapid Lash, or any other product with Isopropyl Cloprostenate you should call your rep and find out what your next steps should be. It’s logical to assume that you should not have the product on your shelves. You’ll also want to find out from your Rep how to deal with any clients that return their lash growth product.

Tomorrow i will have info on which Lash Serums are people safe and friendly!

Well now wasnt that some education for you Lash Lovers!

What are you putting on your eyes?! Krazy Glue?!

Myths about “Lash Glue”

Eyelash Extensions FDA APPROVED?

There is not a single eyelash extension “glue” or adhesive that is FDA approved. Some manufactures lead you to believe that their glue is FDA approved when really their glue is simply with in FDA guidelines for not having more than 2% formaldehyde as a preservative. It is simple, most cosmetics in the USA contain preservatives and many use formaldehydes. This includes your shampoos, makeup and various other products. Many dry cleaners use formaldehyde. Some people have an allergy to formaldehyde and it could cause a reaction to the eyelash extension adhesive. So, many extension companies manufacture adhesives that do not contain it but not a single eyelash extension glue has an FDA approval.

Is the lash extension adhesive “surgical grade”?

Eyelash extension adhesives are not used in surgery or used to glue soft tissue on humans. This is another silly marketing tactic. Please ask what medical facility or organization is using the eyelash glue in a medical procedure if you are told this rubbish. Adhesive produced for medical applications has some similarities and may share an ingredient or two with eyelash extension adhesives but it is doubtful that if the local hospital runs out of surgical glue that they will reach for some eyelash glue.

The fact is, eyelash extension adhesive is supposed to be applied to eyelash hair. It is not to be applied to the skin like surgical glue. Any time a technician uses too much glue or poorly applies the extensions so the glue contacts the skin, there are going to be issues. This stuff is strong. It has to be to use so very little of it and still have the holding strength to last as long as it does.  It is supposed to be expertly applied by a licensed, experienced technician so no glue comes in contact with the skin.

Safe, quality glue is important but no matter how safe the manufacturer claims the glue is, it is the skill of the lash artist that ensures ultimate safety, quality and comfort. Adhesive is important but the best adhesive doesn’t ensure an excellent eyelash experience, that experience is in the hands of the technician.

Do not wash your lashes for 24 hours.

For those with sensitivities to the various products in the procedure this is AMAZING! Think about it – if you go to a picnic, and you get itchy from the grass every time you go on one, what do you do? You take a shower when you get home! You wash off the traces of the allergen!

While our eyelash extension adhesive is a similar animal to “Krazy Glue”, it is not actually the same thing. for instance, crazy glue emits heat when it cures – completely inappropriate for contact anywhere near the eyes. It actually isn’t even a glue its an adhesive more similar to a rubber then a glue. The active ingredient is Cyanoacrylates. Cyanoacrylates do not dry, but instead “cure” as they are met with a catalyst like water or alcohol. Water is by far the simplest activator to use around the eyes. We also know that when cured (thorough cure is achieved in 24 hours *if* left to cure naturally, drawing moisture from the ambient air), this adhesive is an inert plastic. Once it is cured, it is harmless – inert. It no longer is capable of being an irritant. AND-It is waterproof to a reasonable extent. If soaked (submerged) in water for a long period of time, it will degrade and lose its strength of bond. If just subjected to washing, showering, etc; no problem. We can force a cure (using hydrogen as the accelerator – in the form of a cool mist from a compression nebulizer or a dampened disposable applicator or our primers or sealers!). That way, as long as the lashes are separated and cured, the client can wash their lashes in 2-4 hours. WOW-WOW-WOW!

Smarty Pants Tip** Ask your Lash Artist if she has cured your lashes if at the end of application a sealer, nebulizer, or a hydro mist has not been applied.

The Lash Do’s, Don’ts and How To’s

Here’s hoping this makes life a bit easier and lashes last a lot longer!

Proper placement of the extensions can add dimension and fullness to your lashes while creating a brand new person that might look a little bit familiar to you. However this new face is most likely filled with more confidence & in most cases is wearing less makeup then you normally would because they just look that good. Just like a proper brow shaping, proper lash placement can change your entire appearance.  Applying good lash extensions is truly an art. Consultation is a must.

Eyelashes look amazing when your just leaving your stylist and couldn’t feel more amazing and more beautiful, Now here’s the tough part (not really ladies) how do you keep them looking that way?! You may have noticed most Lash Artist do not give a guarantee, once you have left the building it is sort a up to you to make the last and look great. The reason Artist take this stance on a guarantee is because there are many things that a client can do or not do that determine the life of the lashes and it isn’t always necessarily something the Lash Artist did. In my experience is usually isn’t. See below for my personal stance & guarantee. To make life a little bit easier i have put together complete list of tips that could help extend the life and look of your lashes. Please follow them it will make your and your Lash Artists’ life a little bit easier!

  1. Choose your extensions carefully. Semi permanent eyelash extensions are very popular products, available in a multitude of colors, sizes, styles and textures, but also in various quality levels. You need to make sure that you are buying professional extensions, that will make your eyes look healthy and natural and last long enough (two months is the average life period for professionally applied semi permanent eyelash extensions, but with proper care and fills, it can go up to three months before needing a fresh set.). To do that, ask for referrals to a Lash Artist, see pictures of Artist work, read reviews and don’t be afraid to ask questions. A good Lash Artist will be able to explain and help custom create a look with the right Curl, Style and Length perfect for your eye shape.

Have your extensions applied by a certified eyelash artists. Some home kits are quite good, but unless you have specialized in applying extensions or at least did it yourself for a couple of times, it would be better to leave it to the professionals, even if it is going to cost a little more. After all, it is not something you do every day, and it would be a shame to damage your eyelashes.

  2. Ask the cosmetician or the eyelash artist to use a sealant. The sealant will work as a protective coat for your eyelashes, making them stronger and enhancing their length and thickness. It will also strengthen the glue and keep the extensions on for a longer period of time. Your eyelashes will appear perfect, your eyes will be beautifully complimented and your look will be intense and captivating, just as you wished. ILash Care has one that i love. You can purchase it HERE. Its recommended you continue using the sealer daily.
  3. Avoid rubbing your eyes. I know, it is difficult, especially in the morning, but instead of rubbing them, wash your face with clean cold water. It will help revitalize your eyes and skin. Besides, your hands are never perfectly clean, and rubbing could irritate your eyes, make your eyelashes fall off or break the extensions, so it is just not worth it.
  4. Avoid water for 24 hrs. Lashes do need 12 hours to set, before those 12 hours water can be damaging to your set. I recommend 24 hours to be on the safe side.
  5. No steam/facials for 48 hrs. For 2 days it is best to not have direct steam hit your lashes. The steam can cause them to look droopy if lashes come in contact with it too soon. If they do look droopy use the cold air on the blow dryer to perk them right back up.
  6. The sweat rules. Yes sweat can also have a part in the life span of your lashes. If you work out carry a towel and pat your lashes dry if sweat comes into contact. Wearing a headband is very helpful. If you are a fan of Hot Yoga, i am sorry, your lashes will more then likely not last. The steam and sweat mixture are over powering and help break up glue.
  7. Brush your eyelashes gently. Just like your hair needs brushing, your eyelashes could use some too, just gentler, with a small soft clean mascara brush (spoolie). It will help remove dust and fallen eyelashes and it will separate the extensions, preventing them from gluing to one another. Do not brush them wet, just like the hair on your head, hair becomes fragile and can stretch and break or be ripped. If you brush them regularly, your eyelashes will look longer and thicker, giving your look the perfection you have been dreaming of.
  8. Select your beauty products carefully. No, using beauty products is not prohibited when having eyelash extensions, but you do need to watch out for their ingredients. If you have ever removed your eyelash extensions or had them removed for you, you know the most efficient removal ingredients are olive oil and oil based make-up remover. That is because the oil interacts with the glue and loosens it. Thus, when you choose your face cream and make-up remover, make sure they do not contain oil.
  9. Be careful about what type of mascara you use. Most women do not even bother using mascara, as the semi-permanent eyelash extensions are long and thick enough as they are. However, if you feel they would look better with some mascara, make sure you read the ingredients carefully, and avoid using waterproof mascara. The products in this category usually contain substances that interact with the glue ingredients and dissolve it, causing the extensions to fall off. Also, don’t use too much mascara. It will unnecessarily burden your extensions and take away the natural look that makes them so great.
  10. See a specialist whenever the situation calls for it. If you notice severe breaking or falling of your eyelash extensions, you should either have them removed or visit the beautician / cosmetician who applied them. It may be a false alarm, an allergy or a secondary reaction to some ingredients, but some precaution cannot hurt.
  11. Do soften up on your make up.  Lash Extensions will add a lot of definition your lash line.  Heavy liners or dark shadows could be too strong for the eyes to carry. Most of my clients as well as myself love the fact that i/they can wake up in the morning look in the mirror and say “Hey i look pretty good, i don’t need anymore makeup.” Of course I am not saying don’t wear makeup. However they will look so amazing you wont need much and over doing the makeup may drown out the lashes.
  12. Schedule Maintenance. Fills are recommended every 2 1/2 to 5 weeks. This is determined based on your Lash growth cycle, your care for them and preference. Do follow your maintenance schedule for touch up appointments.  An overdue lash appointment can look messy and unruly. Fill in your lashes with mascara until you can make your next appointment. Now ladies, This is very important… 3 lashes on one eye and 7 on the other IS NOT A FILL! see below for my personal fill requirements and pricing.

FALSE EYELASHES:

The Do’s of False Eyelashes

  • Cut the strip to fit the shape of your eye
  • Use a flare lash to add dimensions and volume on the outer corner of the lash line
  • Apply mascara lightly to the lashes previous to applying the false lash
  • Use eye liner over the top of the lash line to blend the false lash and the natural lash line

The Don’ts of False Eyelashes

  • Don’t rush your false lash application. Make sure to blow the adhesive completely dry.  The strip could fall out and when you least expect it.
  • Don’t go too long or too thick unless it’s Halloween or you’re channeling your inner Gaga.

EYELASH FACTS

The Greek terminology for eyelash is BLEPHARIS

Eyelashes contain 3% water and 97% of  a protein called Keratin.

Eyelashes are also considered hair in the body. It grows, falls off, and grows back again. Eyelashes also go through the 3 phases of the hair. These are the growth, transition, and resting phases. The 1st phase is when the lashes grow and lasts up to a maximum of 45 days. After which, it goes through the 2nd phase where the eyelashes stops growing and may last up to 3 weeks. In the 3rd phase, the lashes do not continue growing, stays for 100 days and then they fall out. It normally takes up to 8 weeks to replace an eyelash that fell out.

An eyelash is one of the hairs that grow on the outer edge of the eyelid,  its purpose is to protect the eyes from debris. They are said to be likened to that of a cats whisker –  they are sensitive when touched providing warning that an object is approaching the eye.

Eyelashes in the embryo develop around the 22nd – 26th week of pregnancy.

An eyelash cycle of growth is approximately 100 – 150 days.

There is on average approx 150 – 200 lashes on the upper lid and 70 – 100 lashes on the lower lid.

Long eyelashes are considered a sign of femininity in a lot of cultures, while some cultures like the Hadza – located in north central Tanzania trim theirs.

Kohl was a grinding of lead sulfide mixed with other ingredients,  it was initially used to protect and enhance lashes.  It was also thought that blackening the area around the eye would protect it from the suns harsh rays, this dates back to 3100BC.

The wealthy in Ancient Egypt used it to protect eyes from sand, dust and bugs.

1960’s was the time for the boom in the false eyelashes popularity.

Modern day has seen the birth of eyelash extensions and even eyelash transplants.

Eyelash Growth

While most women may choose the use of fake eyelash extensions to achieve longer eyelashes, there arevitamins and nutrients that can actually promote eyelash growth naturally. These are Vitamin B-3, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin H, and Calcium. These can help with the eyelash in a number of ways such as improving blood flow in the hair glands, acting as antioxidants to protect the lashes and the eyes from infections and toxins, preventing the lashes from drying and falling out, and lowering the risk of losing hair brought about by illnesses such as hypothyroidism.

Olive oil acts as conditioners to the eyelashes which will allow them to grow longer, stronger, and healthier.Emu oil speeds up and encourages new hair growth. Vaseline can also be used as alternatives to olive and emu oils. Yogurt, beans, eggs, fish, and soy protein are foods that an individual can also take which also help in increasing and promoting eyelash growth.

There are also cosmetic products that are marketed to aid in eyelash growth an enhancement. One of these is a liquid applicator that promises thicker and vibrant eyelashes in two week time. It also claims to have to side effects when applies. The black mascara is also a trusted product by most women to make their lashes appear fuller and sexier. It also adds an overall glow in the eyes.

ODD EYELASH FACTS

Most of us have microscopic, worm like mites named Demodex that live in our eyelashes and have claws and a mouth.

In ancient Egypt, priests plucked EVERY hair from their bodies, including their eyebrows and eyelashes

In Brazil, there’s a species of cockroach that eats eyelashes, usually those of young children while they are asleep.

A LITTLE HISTORY FOR YOU!

Image

Eyelash extensions are synthetic, mink or human hair pieces of enhancements designed to add length, thickness and fullness to natural eyelashes. They are similar to hair extensions except for eyelashes. They can be separated into two types: temporary and semi-permanent. There is also a medical way of enhancing eyelashes. But thats not my specialty so ill leave that blogging to those experts… Hmm maybe ill do some research later on too… Im a lil Miss Know it all and if i cant find an expert I GOOGLE IT till i’m blue in the face from reading so many opinions.

Anyways so a lil history for you…

Lash extensions originated in Korea. In 1916 this Director D.W. Griffith was making his film Intolerance wanted to make his leading lady,  actress Seena Owen stand out out from the rest with some sexy come hither lashes.  They were created by a wig maker who used a super fine gauze to pull them together and attach them to her eyes! And just like that a new obsession for us women to blog, facebook, google, pinterest about was born! So even though the technique was originated in Korea, It wasn’t till Vietnam got a hold of them that they created the first synthetic lashes, silk lashes, all the thicknesses and sizes and all the “must-haves” that each Lash Stylist carry’s in their kit. So now this has me wondering because  it wasn’t until the 1990’s when False lashes became a Film, TV, and Celebrity must-have. Korea introduced this New single lash application in 2004 and soon after Beauty Salons here in the US started offering the service. They were then popularized like rapid fire & are now available at price ranges that “we” could afford but that wasn’t till …ummm CRAP this might be wrong… but it wasn’t till 2004 (maybe it was 2005-6 oops i cant remember.) Lash Extensions have come a long way it is almost crazy how much technique, style and quality has evolved since 1916. I would love to see the road it took to get here and the changes & mistakes that were made along the way.

Eyelash Extensions are synthetic lashes that are attached to an individuals natural lashes using a special adhesive.  The lashes come in different lengths, curls and thickness’ which makes it possible to customize the application.  Manufactured by hand or by machine, most eyelash extensions are made from polyester to imitate human lashes and other materials such as mink and silk.  Real mink fur as well as human hair are also used.

So here’s what these little guys look like. It makes me laugh to see clients expressions when they see them. Most people are curious and ask to see them and when i show them this little baggie or jar filled with tiny lashes that don’t look like much, their excitement sorta fades into disappointment into nervousness.

Image

These are loose synthetic lashes

Image

Now these are the same but in tray, More then often they are labeled 100% Mink… I still don’t understand the reasoning behind that. Since it is very apparent they are “Silkz” a lil softer and lighter then Synthetic but THEY ARE NOT 100% MINK! Down Below are lashes that claim to be 100% Siberian Mink.

Image

And last but not least is Human Hair Extensions, the thinnest, softest and very natural look that i recommend for those with lil to no lashes due to chemo or some sort of ailment. Most clients that come to me are looking for something a bit more dramatic then natural. This is why I favor Silkz but keep all of them on hand to be able to service any client the way they want!
